Proposals for specimen identification, specimen handling, and other educational workshops for the arrival day afternoon are welcome. Workshops are considered ticketed events, for which separate advanced registration is required by March 15. Workshop organizers may charge a participation fee to cover costs.
Proposals for field trips or other special events on both the first and last days of the conference are also welcome. These events will also be considered ticketed events, for which separate advanced registration is required by March 15. Field trip organizers may charge a participation fee to cover costs.
Except if otherwise noted, transportation from the convention center to the field trip destination will be via carpooling. Prior to the conference, we will forward the names and email addresses of all those who sign up for a field trip to the field trip organizer, who will contact each participant in advance to set up a time for a brief meeting to provide directions and work out the details of who will be driving. The same applies to workshops which are scheduled for a location offsite of the convention center.
The deadline for workshop, field trip, and special event proposals is February 15.
To submit a proposal or if you have any suggestions or questions you would like to discuss, please contact us with the details.
