New Venue! In our continuing efforts to better serve the entire Northeast Region, NENHC will again move to a new location—in Massachusetts for the first time! Springfield is a great city with lots to offer in addition to its central, easy-to-get-to location, and the Sheraton Springfield Hotel is a wonderful conference facility.
Weekend Conference! Pre-conference field trips and workshops on Saturday and the main conference days on Sunday and Monday. Having the conference overlap onto a weekend will hopefully make it fit in easier with most people's schedules, requiring less days off from work or classes.
Join us for the 13th Northeast Natural History Conference (NENHC). This conference promises again to be the largest regional forum for researchers, natural resource managers, students, and naturalists to present current information on the varied aspects of applied field biology (freshwater, marine, and terrestrial) and natural history for the Northeastern United States and adjacent Canada. It will serve as a premier venue to identify research and management needs, foster friendships and collegial relationships, and encourage a greater region-wide interest in natural history by bringing people with diverse backgrounds together.
