Announcing the 2026 Northeast Natural History Conference
... back in Burlington, VT, at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel!!
Burlington has been a very popular and successful venue for the conference, so we are excited to once again bring the meeting there for 2026.
You won't want to miss the Northeast's largest regional forum for researchers, natural resource managers, students, and naturalists to present current information on the varied aspects of applied field biology (freshwater, marine, and terrestrial) and natural history for the Northeastern United States and adjacent Canada. It will serve as a premier venue to identify research and management needs, foster friendships and collegial relationships, and encourage a greater region-wide interest in natural history by bringing people with diverse backgrounds together. Every year, we receive affirmative feedback about how friendly, collegial, and enjoyable the conference is and how it is especially welcoming of and valuable to students.

We are excited to have Doug Talamy as our Keynote speaker for this year's conference! He will be engaging us with a talk entitled "Nature's Best Hope". For more details about Doug and his plenary presentation, click here. |
To help encourage a particularly engaging conference program and in recognition of the effort that goes into soliciting speakers and putting together a cohesive, informative session, this year we again will be offering a rebate of 50% off the conference registration fee to those who propose a session and successfully recruit presentations to fill it. |
Call for Judges for Student Poster Presentation Awards We are looking for volunteer judges to decide recipients for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, with cash prizes of $300, $200, and $100, respectively, in each category.
