Supporting music at Eagle Hill with donations

The Eagle Hill Institute functions as an extended family whose members share many interests. Many of the friends of Eagle Hill have keen interests in music. They see how our chamber concerts contribute in deeply emotional ways to the cultural setting within which the institute's natural history science primary missions play out. This year's campaign offers opportunities to help shape the future of music at Eagle Hill by way of tax-deducible donations, since the institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The institute is a fiscally conservative organization that has not actively sought donations and bequests in order to support its program interests, but it needs support for capital projects, such as the new home for the music program within the cultural and events center.

Please consider these suggested levels of giving. All donations are welcome.

We seek to raise $3,250,000 towards a new home for the music program, as a wing within the cultural and events center on the western slope of Eagle Hill.

Monthly options ... Join a group of committed supporters whose automatically scheduled monthly donations enable us to plan specific projects better for the future.

Programs fund ... This fund helps to support the concert series and the musicians who perform at Eagle Hill. This includes residencies for musicians.

Instrument fund ... By way of a stand-alone special interest fund that is outside the focus of the campaign for the music program, we seek to commission a newly-to-be-built harpsichord, which will serve as a catalytic focus around which new aspects of the music program can be developed.

Legacy donations and bequests ... In both cases, these offer a deeply meaningful way for a donor to partner with us to achieve something significant within their lifetime that parallels a life-long interests they have had.

Donations in kind ... Eagle Hill welcomes donations of tangible personal property that furthers its mission, such as a concert grand piano.

Your donation will be promptly acknowledged. Since Eagle Hill is a nonprofit tax-exempt (501(c)(3) organizationt, your donation is tax deductible under IRS guidelines.

We are grateful for every donation. We recognize that each is a personal affirmation of hope and a vision for the future of Eagle Hill. Please share with us what you are thinking.

Respectfully ...
