The power of music ... By way of ticket sales, sales of after-concert dinners for musicians and concert guests, and the gracious support of our musicians, the concert series is reliably self-supporting year-after-year on average on a break even basis. This is unusual and healthy, since this shows a clear proof-of-concept, i.e., that the power of the music program is a direct expression of the natural interests of the musicians and the audience. We feel that the stage has thus been set for exploring the potentials of the music program by way of the cultural and events center on the western slope of Eagle Hill.
The power of acoustics ... The musicians feel that the acoustics in the intimate formal concert room and in the more expansive great room are among the best in Maine and thus something they very much look forward to.
