The Natural History Now (ISSN pending) welcomes manuscripts on all aspects of natural history, globally, that lend themselves well to being presented in an academically-rigorous photo essay format.
Natural History Now photo essays pair well with traditional research articles, since these do not support the inclusion of a generous selection of photographs with detailed captions. They can thus provide previews of research articles that have not yet been published or they can provide retrospective highlights of ones that have recently been published.
They thus serve as an important intermediary publishing format between typical "sketchy" network news reports and research articles.

The Eagle Hill Institute reserves the copyright to the content of its journals. Any reproduction in print or electronic format, other than for an individual's own personal and private use, is prohibited without written permission from the Institute.
