Statement on waiver of page charges

The Pan-American Paleontology is launching by waiving page charges for manuscripts submitted during 2025 and 2026. This offer is unreserved, in that anyone may request and will receive this subvention.

We especially welcome manuscripts from first authors who are young researchers, such as graduate students and post-doctoral students, who are in the early stages of establishing their careers.

Page charges are, of course, routine and necessary to produce a high-quality scientific journal that is published in a timely manner. Those who are in a position to cover our page charges, are encouraged to do so. They are normally $60 per page, or $30 per page if the first author is a graduate student or if the first author is a Latin American researcher not living within Canada or the United States.
