Abstract
We report the first New Jersey record of the accidentally introduced Coelioxys coturnix (Red-tailed Cuckoo Leaf-cutter Bee). The male bee was collected from a utility right of way in a highly developed area of central New Jersey. Coelioxys coturnix is native to Eurasia and was first collected in Washington, DC, in 2004. Since then, it has continued to spread in eastern North America.
