Sponsorship Opportunities

Over the years, the Northeast Natural History Conference has been growing in participation and prominence. NENHC 2024 promises to again attract great interest. There are a number of benefits which are available to all general conference sponsors (see sponsorhip opportunities below).

General Conference Sponsorship

The financial contribution of General Sponsors supports the conference as a whole, and sponsor will be recognized as such in multiple ways by having their name and logo:

• included in the list of sponsors on the conference website,

• prominently displayed in the entryway to the main conference meeting area all conference long, and

• included in the printed conference program which all participants will be using to choose where to go from among the many opportunities at the conference.

We also offer General Sponsors the opportunity to make available to attendees any branded promotional items (e.g., pens, notepads, bags, etc.) and/or informational handouts, which will be placed right by the centrally located and highly visible registration table where all will see them. In addition, the presentation of your materials can include a table-top pop-up display or banner you provide, all to be on show for both full main conference days.

Sponsorhship also includes 1 free basic registration for an individual representing the sponsor (regular registration fees apply for any attendees beyond that one).

The cost to become a conference sponsor is $1500.

Special Targeted Sponsorships

The NENHC also offers opportunities for sponsorship of specific conference elements. The following is a list of targeted sponsorship possibilities, but we welcome creative suggestions for such other specifically targeted sponsorships.

Poster Session Sponsors - each poster session sponsor helps underwrite one day's poster sessions. The posters are a particularly valuable opportunity for young researchers to hone their skills in effectively presenting their work, and these sponsorships help cover the costs of the student poster awards promoting excellence in scholarship. In addition to listing of the sponsor name and logo on the website and in the conference program, they will be prominently displayed at both the morning and afternoon poster sessions for the day you sponsor. Further, we offer the opportunity to make available to attendees any branded promotional items (e.g., pens, notepads, bags, etc. or even cups with your logo/message on them to be used on the beverage table for attendees to use to get their drinks) and/or informational handouts, which will be placed close to the highly trafficked snack and beverage tables where all will see them during both the morning and afternoon refreshment breaks as well as anytime during that day that they stop by to view the posters; the presentation of your materials can include a table-top pop-up display or banner you provide. Sponsorhship also includes 1 free basic registration for an individual representing the sponsor (regular registration fees apply for any attendees beyond that one).
Cost: $1200.

Plenary Sponsor - the plenary sponsor helps underwrite the costs of travel, housing, transportation, and speaking fee for the conference's keynote speaker. The inspirational and informative plenary address is a major highlight of the conference, not scheduled concurrently with any other activities so that all registrants can attend. In addition to listing of the sponsor name and logo on the website and in the conference program, they will be prominently displayed with onsite signage at the keynote address, including a sign by the speaker's podium, and recognized during the introduction. Further, we offer the opportunity to make available to attendees any branded promotional items (e.g., pens, notepads, bags, etc.) and/or informational handouts, which will be placed right by the entrance to the Plenary where all will walk by; the presentation of your materials can include a table-top pop-up display or banner you provide. Sponsorhship also includes 1 free basic registration for an individual representing the sponsor (regular registration fees apply for any attendees beyond that one).
Cost: $1000.

Networking Session Sponsor - this sponsorship helps underwrite the costs of the general networking session scheduled at the conclusion of the oral sessions on Saturday, prior to dinner. With refreshments and a cash bar provided in a setting conducive to allow conference attendees to mingle, catch up with old friends, and forge new collegial connections, this event is one that many eagerly look forward to. In addition to listing of the sponsor name and logo on the website and in the conference program, they will be prominently displayed with onsite signage at the Networking Session location. Further, we offer the opportunity to make available to attendees any branded promotional items (e.g., pens, notepads, bags, etc.) and/or informational handouts, which will be placed right near the refreshment tables and cash bare where they will have high visibility during the session; the presentation of your materials can include a table-top pop-up display or banner you provide. Sponsorhship also includes 1 free basic registration for an individual representing the sponsor (regular registration fees apply for any attendees beyond that one).
Cost: $800.

Oral Session Sponsor - if your organization has a specific natural history focus that you want to help promote at the conference, this sponsorship allows you to link your organization with oral presentation sessions that match that focus. In addition to listing of the sponsor name and logo on the website and in the conference program, they will be prominently displayed with onsite signage at the session you choose to sponsor. Further, we offer the opportunity to make available to attendees any branded promotional items (e.g., pens, notepads, bags, etc.) and/or informational handouts, which will be placed right by the entrance to the sponsored session where all will walk by; the presentation of your materials can include a table-top pop-up display or banner you provide. Sponsorhship also includes 1 free basic registration for an individual representing the sponsor (regular registration fees apply for any attendees beyond that one).
