Who should attend?

Everyone—researchers, field biologists, natural resource managers, faculty members and their students, and naturalists—who shares the vision of developing an expanded true regional forum for exchanging information on all aspects of the natural history sciences of the northeastern United States and eastern Canada are encouraged to participate in NENHC.

One of the most important functions of the Northeast Natural History Conference is to facilitate effective networking among participants. Opportunities for social interactions have again been expanded, now with scheduled sessions to mingle and network with friends and colleagues and to meet new ones during each of the three full conference days. The Conference's role in facilitating a single annual gathering of multiple northeastern North American natural resource groups and organizations will serve to enhance the potential for collaborative exchanges.

For students, the NENHC is an especially good chance to meet a wide array of experts in subjects of interest to them and to introduce themselves to potential new advisors and supervisors.
