To help maximize exposure for this new journal, the Urban Naturalist is currently offering open access to its content. Just click on the links below.
The Urban Naturalist has grown out of the fertile ground of Brooklyn Botanic Garden's journal Urban Habitats, which is no longer active. As such, we have agreed to steward the archives of all of the past published content of the Urban Habitats, which remains open access. While we will soon migrate the content on to our site, for now, you can still access those articles on the still extant Urban Habitats site.
The publisher, Eagle Hill Institute, reserves the copyright to all its publications. Any reproduction, other than for an individual's own personal and private use, or distribution of journal content is prohibited without written permission from Eagle Hill Institute.
Authors of articles published in the Urban Naturalist are allowed to post the pdf reprints of their articles on their own website, as well as personally distribute copies to their colleagues, provided they do so along with a clear statement of the Institute's copyright policy as stated above.
